At the end of the day.....

Sometimes the sun disappears in a blaze of colour, other times she slips away with colour as soft as a sigh....each has its own special beauty.
My favourite jetty at Yattalunga has been given a "facelift". Gone are the beautiful rustic weathered timber boards and railings. Replaced with low maintenance durable steel and plastic. 
Whilst I can appreciate the advances; the safer, more even surface for fishermen, the lower costs and time required in maintenance.........I can't help but prefer the older more charming and picturesque timber version.
