Rock and ROLL !

I'm in another building at work for the next few weeks. It allows me a gente stroll to/from work and I get the chance to watch the drama unfolding at the Edinburgh Festival.

Tents appear in the middle of roads, Pavements Cafes have appeared, Venues are made out of disused church halls - the city has an air of 'European' about it. Lots of people casually wandering about, getting in the way of the real workers.

I even saw a man waiting at the pedestrian crossing beside a road closed to traffic ! He looked very confused.

The change in work venue also lets me renew old friendships. Today I was presented with a lovely picture of the Red Arrow flypast above Edinburgh Castle an old friend had taken from the 7th floor of one of our buildings. You know who you are ! Back home - a lovely evening(finally). No 3 is showing of the T-shirt my mountain-bike-mad-brother bought her !
