Over the sea to Mull

This morning we set off on a 3 hour drive to Oban before catching the car ferry to Mull for a week with our friends in Ardtun near Bunessan.

Before we set off I went out to the farm and collected 3 of the remaining hens and popped them in a large cat basket - these were a present for friends in Mull and they survived the journey well - one of them even layed an egg !

I am very much looking forward to this week - Lovely sunshine when we got off the ferry but torrential rain started just as we were arriving at our friends' house - needless to say being Mull the sun was shining 20 minutes later.
