Into the Gloom
Today was my first skiing trip of the season. Bri and I went up to Glenshee on the promise of fresh snow.
It was my first time on skis since my Can This Really Be Scotland adventure. Well - this is proper Scottish skiing. Better than shite. Worse than awesome. Thankfully not just skiing on frozen heather today. In fact, there was no ice at all. Plenty of variable snow, persistent light rain, low cloud, poor visibility, patchy runs and the odd rock though :-)
We had a good blast down the few open runs (only three Pomas open - this chairlift remained steadfastly shut) and got the legs starting to remember how to ski. Bri remembered how to fall over. Quite a lot.
Came home with everything soaking, but still a great day out.
Edit - here's some rejects too:

LOTD: Three Little Bells "Where's ma wellies?" blip - great perspective, colours and instant story too.
