Salt Way seat

We took part in the 'Ride and Stride' sponsored bike ride today, cycling around churches in Kent. Our route included the bike path from Canterbury to Whitstable, part of which follows the ancient Salt Way, along which salt produced at Seasalter was transported to Canterbury. This bench commemorates this route. We also cycled along the sea front at Whitstable, as well as visiting 15 churches and having a biscuit in nearly every one!
