Trying to be creative in the kitchen and attempt number one to make a delightful sauce I had at a Lebanese restaurant in Barcelona recently. I'm using a beast of a champagne cork remover bought in the post New Year sales, at a bargain price, to crack walnuts. As soon as I saw it I thought it would make the ultimate nut cracker, I doubt it will ever see a cork whilst I have it in my possession!

Sitting with a glass of wine and my knitting watching the Last Night of the proms in the hope that I'll see a load of EU flags being waved enthusiastically, I may not last long on this mission as the Last Leg is on the other channel !
