Life's Good!

Here's the Grand Ferrero that we got last Saturday, waiting for SweetArt's visit. Geraldine likes it because it has no stickers except I know it does because inside it, there are 4 normal sized Ferrero Rocher chocolates!

So today... after the awfulness of last week... everything seemed to come together!

It started with a call from Volvo to say that they had managed to locate a belt in the region (apparently even Sweden was out of stock). They were in the process of checking it to make sure it works. I phoned the LG (a/c) technician to see if he would take a look at the a/c in my room which stopped working two days ago. He said he would do his best as he had a lot of appointments, today being the last working day before the Eid holidays begin. (He came later and fixed it.) And the service manager at Peugeot said the car would be ready to collect by 3!

In the meantime, G decided to tackle a little ant problem that has developed in the kitchen. Really tiny ones that are full of energy. They dart about on the counter. I don't think an inch of the kitchen hasn't been treated with dettol!

And when we weren't cleaning the kitchen, or picking up cars to bring them back home, we met up with one of our Clients from the Cyprus furnishing project in Motor City. She'd been across in July to see her flat, and brought me back some sesame seed bars!! :D

To say it's been a great day would be an understatement. My room is cool, both cars are back home and working and the ants have been sent packing. Life is back to normal. And I have the next three days off.
