Trunk into Logs

Today's project was reducing this rather large tree trunk into 30 cm lengths I can split for the fire.
I managed to do half of it before my arms became tired and handling the chain saw with tired arms is not a great idea, so I'll finish it off another day. Now I have 10 more logs to split which will also give me something to do another day.
It's not a very dynamic photo, but then it wasn't a very dynamic day either.
One of my tags is the season and yesterday I switched from "summer" to "autumn" because the weather seemed to have turned a corner. Today it was misty and damp all day - very autumnal - but I've nothing against switching back to summer if the weather allows!
