Zap!

Met my friend Elaine in Leeds City Bus Station to get the Zap bus to York.
Takes 45 minutes and the driver uses a sat nav to decide which is the quickest route, no stops.
Couldn't be easier, we sat upstairs, could see lots of beautiful scenery that is not visible when driving your own car, not have to find or pay for a parking space and ultimately could imbibe in a cheeky little drink or two.
Best of all because we are ladies of a certain age we could use our bus passes and go free!
After doing a little shopping and wandering around the winding streets we went for a splendid lunch and could pretend we were in France for an hour or two.
More shopping: l bought a boiled wool coat, Elaine bought a Sahara tunic that must have been the bargain of the day - £23 from £129! Get in!!!
