An English Country Garden...

...yet a very Dutch house.

A little wander around a local "monument" on a special open day today. Was great to see behind the walls I walk next to so often. So the house and garden from around 1742 and designed to reflect English gardens at that time. To be fair, it did feel rather English Country as we wandered about.
