An eye spots an eye!
Such an improvement in the weather today ... gone were the rain jackets and umbrellas and back out came the teeshirts.
A visit to town to buy a baby present and a couple of significant birthday cards ..... success in purchasing the gift but not no successful with the cards ... more about that tomorrow.
Discovered that L was in town at the same time so after a coffee we went to the Lighthouse, Glasgow's Centre for Design and Architecture, just off the Style Mile. The Lighthouse acts as a beacon for the creative industries in Scotland. Formerly housing The Glasgow Herald, The Lighthouse was the first public commission completed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Climbing up the spiral staircase to the top of the Lighthouse is well worth the effort ..... on a clear day the views over the city are marvellous.
