Tidying the garden....

Slowly working my way around the garden, clearing away some of the summer bedding, getting it ready for winter and looking forward to spring. The soil in my garden is too wet and clayey for tulips which just rot. But they do wonderfully in pots. The large pots have almost black 'Queen of the Night' tulips in with orange violas for contrast. The smaller pots have 'Red Riding Hood' tulips with white violas.
