An unforgettable day in Sroda Weilkopolska

An unforgettable and amazing day visiting the home town of Pamela's Grandfather Konrad and the house he was brought up in. Meeting the Skrzpczak family and basking not merely in beautiful sunshine but the sheer warmth of Polish hospitality has been truly wonderful.

Here we have Pamela, Witold's Son Timon, Yolanda, Witold, Anna and taking the snap Witold's brother Marcin. Have to confess to be slightly confused as to how everyone is related but Witold and Marcin are the sons of Pamela's Mum's cousin Grzegorz so they have the same great grandparents. Anna is the Granddaughter of Pam Grandad's Brother. When we met Yolanda, I'd kind lost track but she runs the shop we're photographed in front of. To confusing we need a family tree made up!

Incredible to look through old family photos of Konrad as a young man and family trips he brought over Pam's Mother as a child to see her Grandparents. Really quite moving to see them.

Amazing people lovely country. I'm actually a bit addicted and I'm already planning a trip back to Poland!
