Another Flower

Cerise goblets
Defiant against the winds
Splendor soon will fall

My other magnolia is this bright beauty.  It has taken a battering from the winds and its flowering will soon end.
This evening we will fill goblets with a Marlborough Pinot Noir called Haka.  I thought that was appropriate because the All Blacks are playing the Pumas from Argentina this evening.  Friends from Blenheim are with us for a flying visit.  Lots of news to catch up on.  Ali and her daughter have recently been trekking/working in Nepal.  They are both nurses so have skills that are useful.
