Burghley Horse Trials

Up bright and early this morning to head to the Burghley Horse Trials. When we got there, we discovered that the tickets we'd bought didn't actually cover the show jumping, so we had to go and buy another ticket. Mum double checked and no where on the website does it say that there are tickets to get into the show jumping.

We had a great day, the show jumping was amazing. Although we only had one horse refuse to jump, which I was a little disappointed at. We also managed to have a mooch around all the stalls and somehow we managed to spend quite a bit of money (I blame the Joules stall).

We arrived home lateish because traffic on the way home was bad. We got stuck at a level crossing and had to wait for three trains to pass before the barriers lifted. Auntie Anne made chilli for dinner and then I spent the night reading.
