After work today a close friend and I took a walk along the small river running through town. The preliminary plan was to go to the gym, but since I've been feeling unwell for the last days and she was very tired from working we decided to take a walk instead. I was staring on the ground as we walked You newer know if something interesting turns up to take a photo of.  She's recently gotten her drivers license and payed more attention to signs along the way. She spotted these two... On one side are  signs for parking 'P' and a bike. It says '5 weeks' and 'Applies to bike racks'. Ok... well... where's the bike rack?? We looked at the other side and things became even more curious (picture top right). There're signs for ' parking' and '5 weeks' crossed over. It's very strange! One side you are allowed to park your bike for five weeks but only in the non-excistiong bike rack and on the other side of the lamp post, that's no longer the case... parking forbidden...  After this strange thing we continued walking and as she was going to make a phone call we went to a couple of benches and there was another sign. On this one it said: 'Newly painted?'. And by the look of that bench I think the answer to that question is: No.
