There's a glimpse of the sea in the distance but it's very indistinct.

It's been a miserable day with much rain despite no such thing mentioned in today's forecast. The Tour of Britain came to Devon today and I would have like to have seen it on Dartmoor but the organisers have made it very hard to get to see it. Some other people I spoke to last night who usually go to see it were not going because of the difficulty in getting close. When you consider the space available on the moor, it does seem strange. Afew years ago I was able to spend the night on the moor and get into position beside the road with ease but since they've made the finish at Haytor it's not been so easy. Ah well!

Many thanks for all the faves that you wonderful folks have bestowed on my Dartmoor blip from Wednesday. It was on page 1 of the populars earlier today but is now dropping back. It's done well.
