A War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built in Newton-le-Willows in 1945. It's lived the dream with plenty of continental travel and is now running on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. We didn't go on a train today but had a walk around Skipton and then visited a few of the stations on the KWVR before heading home for a Chinese takeaway.
