An interesting smattering of clouds

All I remember from today was that it was another very hot day and I did a lot of washing in my afternoon off - walking to and from the launderette in the heat was not an enjoyable experience.

I'm hoping that something else exciting happened.

Just realised it did - we went to check out the local outdoor 50 m pool. It was amazing. Swimming outside is a very nice experience. Made me feel like I was on holiday, though I'm permanently thinking I'm on holiday despite going to work... Maybe it's the difference in the weather or the fact it's a lot more relaxed here than in London. Whatever it is, I'm not complaining!
