To the end for a smoke

The day started with a meeting of the consultants, and then the weekly case presentation and discussion. My registrar was the presenter today, and she did a wonderful job; chose a good paper to discuss and critiqued it well. Very impressive for a year one trainee.

On the walk back to the unit I passed the lake, and saw this workman taking  his smoko break from the building site. Walked onto the pier. Slowly enough for me to get the camera out to record him halfway along.

This evening we had family to the apartment to help J celebrate the day before her birthday with a reminisce. Chinese takeaways, music and talk. With family. Great evening, resulting in a late post.
