I'm a PC no more Gordy

I'm a bit of a fence sitter when it comes to Apple stuff.

The basic "it just works" argument just doesn't wash when you've had 3 replacement macbooks due to having just about every problem going.

And the apple consumer purchase seems to be a bit of an "all or nothing" thing. If you find yourself asking the following questions...

"What do you mean I have to book an appointment with the genius bar?"
"And why's it called a genius bar FFS? Is it because all your products work so well that it is only thicko customers that make problems?"

...then you probably are a PC.

However... in steps Gordy - resident Genius from the Glasgow shoppe.

"Ah yes we can fix that for you sir... We have the part yes... I see that you've travelled from Edinburgh. i'll put you at the front of the queue and have it ready for collection later today..."

And that was 3.45 in the afternoon...

One Spicy Tuscon Sausage pizza with friends later and I was buzzed to say it was ready.

Not bad - you have to admit.
