Better day

Worked from home today, managed to get lots done (mainly case notes and telephone calls to relatives).

Lace group tonight. We had an interesting speaker although I was a little disappointed to start with. When I had booked her (last year) she was going to talk on Victorian sewing items and would bring things to show. When she arrived and set up for the talk, you could see that there were no Victorian sewing tools ............. but there was beautiful pieces of old lace, lace books and tools she had collected over around 40 years. What I'm trying to say is, whilst it was a nice evening, she was telling us something that we already do and know. It gave us all time to look at the items in detail and to chat.

Early to bed (for me), tired today after a late night yesterday.
