Birthdays

Epic wrapping session tonight. So many August bday presents owing and sept birthdays to come!

Eva back to pre school today. Expected a few tears because Phoebe is no longer there having started school last week but she was fine and has stepped into mother hen role now she is the oldest one there!

I had a lovely ride round the res with Wendy and Jason.

Swim lessons this arvo which were awful. Hopeless swim teacher did not realise as she was guiding Eva across pool holding onto her arms doing back stroke legs that her nose and mouth were under the water and she couldn't breathe and couldn't get her head out of the water because of the way she was being held. It was horrible to watch and I was shouting to the teacher from the side of the pool. She didn't hear me and fortunately just stopped anyway and then looked surprised that Eva was coughing and spluttering after swallowing all that water. I got her out of the pool and said did she want to get out but she really wanted to go back in. I'm going to cancel their lessons there. I could teach them better myself. Toby has been in this swim group since June but the teacher still doesn't know his name and all she does is tell them to go back and forth across the pool. Not actually teaching them!

Then had horrible evening with Toby mis- behaving, fighting with his sister. Don't know how to get through to him sometimes.
