Good Intentions

The plan was to meet up with friend L. and go for a walk in the Angus Glens, taking a picnic lunch with us.  The reality was torrential rain for most of the day, so the walk and picnic were abandoned and we had lunch in a pub instead and put the world to rights:-)

The weather had the cheek to brighten up as I was driving home about 4.30 pm and it turned into a rather pleasant evening, with a gentle sunset.  Better luck next time!
