A day of domestics
At Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings near Bromsgrove it is an award-winning museum with a collection of rescued and restored buildings spanning seven centuries of history.
There are 30 restored and re-erected buildings including a working 19th century windmill, a Medieval Town House, a fully-furnished 1940s prefab and the National Telephone Kiosk Collection. There are also tributes to the Midlands’ industrial heritage, including a 100 year forge and a 19th century chain-making shop.
