I feel my heart beating to my favourite song

As i drove home tonight; Henrik in tow, I looked in awe at the sky.   Massive heavy black clouds sagged out of the sky, but there was a crack of sunlight towards the horizon.

Once I'd finished with Henrik - I sat down, forgetting the sky I'd seen.  As I sat, I looked round and the light was streaming through the window.   I squealed to himself..."i'm away out... the sky is beautiful, the light is beautiful.

I headed to the beach; and got out, trying desperately to hang on to my phone and camera, while fighting to get my coat on for some kind of shelter against the horizontal rain.

As I walked onto the beach, despite the rain I was ecstatic.  The light was shining under the clouds, there were blue skies to the South West, Black clouds directly over head, white clouds to the north, it was stunning.

I had no idea which direction to face the camera. I only have 4 extras left for the rest of the year.   I could only stand, and sit, and squat, and watch the ever changing landscape in front of me.

The rain stopped, and I was able to watch a fishing boat silhouetted in grey against silver sail into the harbour, framed by a constantly moving border of seagulls.

I just stood and took it in.  some people don't get that joy.  To stand there, for no other reason other than to enjoy, so it's up to me to enjoy it for them.

Eventually I turned and faced back inland - to be greeted by a massively black sky broken in the middle by a rainbow.   I just had to stand again, and watch it, as it slowly faded, right hand side, a bit at the bottom of the left hand side, middle, and then the very last bit of the top left just faded before my eyes and I was left with the black sky.

I turned for one last look at the sea and to my amazement it had completely changed again.  No longer black skies, and cloud - the rainbow had chased it and the clouds were broken up, the sun was coming through, and the light was blinding.

Life is good. Right in front of you.
