Cernunnos: The Horned God

Cernunnos is the conventional name given in Celtic studies to depictions of the horned god of Celtic polytheism. The name itself is only attested once, on the 1st-century Pillar of the Boatmen, but depictions of a horned or antlered figure, often seated cross-legged and often associated with animals and holding or wearing torcs, are known from other instances.

I went body boarding with my dad today while everyone else went fishing on a boat to get sea sick. I think I win the contest for the most fun day because after body boarding we went to get me some flip flops for the beaches in cornwall and dad found some great ones with a surfing skeleton. And when you but them together it makes a whole picture. He also bought me this awesome hoodie, it's black with a silver dragon on the back. After we had some food, I found this great shop full of things to do with which craft and skulls and cool stuff like that. My favourite thing in there was this; Cernunnos the horned god sculpture . It was amazing but expensive. And after looking around I payed half for a smaug skull box! I have to say I was very lucky today!
