Full steam ahead

I delivered a clock I had been repairing for a friend.  I knew he was a model railway enthusiast and spent a lot of time with his track and repairing old locos but nothing prepared me for the visit to his garage.  The photo only revealed half the length of one side of his garage.  The whole track runs in an oval around all four walls and is a reproduction of an imaginary station and town on the Wiltshire and Dorset railway complete with buildings, figures and activity.  As someone who only had a single loop of Hornby Dublo track and one engine as a boy, I was mightily impressed! I hope I get invited back some day to play!
