Making the most of the morning sunshine

As usual on my morning ride though the park there were people taking their exercise, but this year it's the first time I have seen racing shells permitted on the park lake, which is stocked with fish and a favourite with anglers.
But thinking about it, why not? during the summer school holidays the park has always had a small fleet of Swan Headed Pedalos out on the lake for hire and the lake is  certainly big enough to be able to row the best part of a mile without needing to turn.
And it was such a lovely sunny morning too.
