Special Garden Visitor

We were out on the patio this morning feeding the blue jays and squirrels when I started to take some pictures in the garden. Walking back to my chair on the patio I saw this beautiful praying mantis on one of the herbs in the garden. They are such a unique insect and I have only seen a few over the years! I put him back on the plant and a little while later he/she flew away!
