We have arrived!

We are here, and Jon and Ben don't look to bad for people who've been on the go for nearly 24 hrs! Good flights, second flight was an A380 and I do love flying in those.

Got ALL the luggage (believe me there is a LOT) and got to David and Eileen's safely. Was so good to see David again after 6 years. We had some time in the garden and picked apples from their apple tree. Something the boys have never done.

The sun had so much warmth in it, that when we went to Bromley high street (to get our SIMs sorted), the three of us were positively uncomfortable. No air conditioning anywhere and you really felt it. I think I haven't brought enough summer clothes, wasn't expecting this at all.
But it certainly made for a wonderful welcome and first day.

Eileen was home when we got back from the high street! So good to see her again too. These two never age. It's remarkable.

A lovely evening and we even managed to stay awake till 10pm. And slept through the night. Yay all round.
