A Vision of Gold

We spent the day in London today, mostly trying to see which of the free events we could go and see. We headed down to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace and managed to get a glimpse of the cycling stage of the triathlon - managed to get a glimpse of the Brownlee Brothers in their race for the medals! We tried to wander down to watch the running but the queue's were huge and we didn't think we'd get there in time, so spent the rest of the day walking around the city.

Took this photo whilst waiting for the athletes for cycle past again, I really like the contrast between the statue and the sky and it was the right colour as we won another gold for the Team GB collection!
