Moving right along
The red, white and blue table topper is done. Now I'm using up the rest of the warp. The red part on the bottom is the top of the table topper. The next white stripe is the top hem for that piece, woven with sewing thread for the weft to make it less bulky. The four fat stripes in the middle are just spacers to separate the two pieces. The next white stripe is the hem for the upper part. The yellow and white part I will weave until I reach the end of the warp. It won't be as long as the bottom part, but will work as a table runner or table scarf. The bottom part is woven with 8/2 unmercerized cotton, both warp and weft. The top warp is the same as the bottom, but the weft is 8/2 Tencel. This shows that very different pieces can be done on the same warp.
