Dungeness

We went to Dungeness today-it is a hauntingly beautiful place, and a photographers paradise.
It is an unlikely place for a National Nature Reserve, dominated in a way by the nuclear powers station which is sited there. However nature wins through and a variety of unusual plants and animals flourish here.
We enjoyed walking along the pebble landscape, and taking loads of photos. The photo I have chosen features sea kale and Viper's Bugloss-both these plants play an important role in Derek Jarman's garden which is also on the reserve.
