Evening light looking west
While I had my head down preparing the evening meal I suddenly wondered whether there was any light in the sky, aware of my lack of a blip. I fetched my small camera and went out into the road from where the sun sets in the gap in the Cotswold hills where Stroud lies.
I took a couple of snaps and hoped for the best, and was pleased with the deep blue colours and the speckled sky. I must go and look at the rather interesting 'The Cloudspotter's Guide' to see what the wonderfully named Gavin Pretor-Pinney has to say about these layers of loveliness.
