The chapel at night
What a humid day – despite the low cloud it was muggy all day and then after lunch the clouds lifted and we had beautiful sunshine. It certainly does not feel autumnal.
I went off to Kingston this morning as I had to get Luke bedding for his new house. This year at university he moves out of his college in to a house, and he has a double bed there so I had to buy him bedding for a double bed as all the extra bedding we have at home is for single beds. Most important was the mattress protector….!! I think all mothers are a little funny about clean beds and not wanting their children to sleep on a stained mattress.
This evening we had our camera group meeting at Thomas’ school. It is very exciting as we are having our first exhibition at the end of November, so during the summer many of us submitted our chosen images to be printed and tonight we chose frames. The prints are being sold in aid of a charity but if they are not sold we get to bring them home again so they have to be framed in a way that we like, what will suit where we wish to hang them. This term we are doing architectural photography, a genre that is not that familiar to me. We then only had a bit of time left to go in to the chapel to gets some interior shots, as can be seen here.
