Champex Lac

Today's a gentle day on the TMB as we wander from the Col du Forclaz along the Bovine Route, stopping at the lovely buvette of the same name and looking across the Rhône Valley towards Hilary's mountains ;)
It's been a busy day for me coaching movement skills with a couple of the less confident clients, the short steep descent around the Durnand de la Jure proving to be quite a challenge, but they seem to be getting it and are all a really fun bunch.
Eventually we made our way, just on schedule, into stunningly beautiful Champex Lac, surely a contender for prettiest village on the route, and it seemed only right to have an ice cream and dip our feet in the lake before making our way to the rather splendid Hotel Splendide.
