North River Tyne at Wark

A long & strenuous cycle this afternoon starting at Bellingham & skirting through the Northumberland National Park, along to Wark via Stonehaugh, then Gunnerton & back to Bellingham. The countryside was looking decidedly autumnal, with masses of thistle down & rowan trees & hawthorn hedges laden with berries.
This was taken on Wark bridge looking up the Tyne.
