Eastern Delight

We headed east today on our staycation stopping for lunch on the sea wall just behind Archirondel. The sea was so calm and the blues of the sky and sea were perfect. We ate our picnic lunch read a bit and then went for a walk through St. Catherine's Woods.

Once home I went outside to get some shots of the planes arriving for the Jersey International Air Display tomorrow afternoon. We live just across the valley from the airport so it's perfect for watching them fly over us on the way to landing. I've made an album over on Flickr and will add more to it tomorrow after we've seen the display.
