Surprise!

It's been a day of pleasant surprises. Following her job interview last Wednesday, Kate hadn't heard anything and was assuming she hadn't been successful so she was delighted when she had a call offering her the job this morning. What's more, they had rearranged the hours to to fit in more conveniently with Sophie's nursery hours.

As the job is in Street, it will be handy for Kate to be able to drop Sophie off here on the days we look after her and we'll get an extra day with her every other week.

We had a further surprise when Kate & Sophie called in this afternoon. Kate had come over to see a friend she used to teach with and we took Sophie up to the park for a while.

Here she is, trying to surprise Grandma by playing peek a boo in the tunnel in the playground.
