After the Storm

We are staying for a few days on the North Fork of Long Island, just a short distance from the very end at Orient Point.  I went on a long walk this morning and found lots of downed tree limbs from Tropical Storm Hermine.  It is still very windy which made macro shots a little tricky but I managed to get a few bee shots that made me very happy.  I had a hard time deciding which of three to post so you can see the other two on Flickr.  Have a look at this one in LARGE.

I have started an album for this road trip, so you will find a few other shots there taken with the Lensbaby Sweet Optic 50.  I still can’t believe how much I enjoy going out with my camera for a few hours, especially in a new location.
