Grass monster

I'm not sure what this but I'm glad I spotted it in the grass where the sun loungers were on the last day of my holiday in Cyprus and not on the first! I've been walking in this grass in my bare feet for a week. It was at least an inch and a half long and the same width as my pinkie. The bits out the back are feeler type things not a sting, but still not very pleasant. I spotted the grass moving in front of me and on closer inspection, this beast emerged. An extra in case the first is not enough for anybody!
Anybody know what it is?
