Good Medicine

This is a sculpture of mine called "Good Medicine". He is a pre-contact Crow healer doing a dance of thanks.The abalone shell has a bundle of sage wrapped around sweet grass, which is burned. As the bundle smolders, the smoke is wafted toward the person who is to be blessed or "smudged". This spiritual healing has been directed all summer to Australia and my friend is in remission....
