fabulous feathers

Although this is not a very good portrait of a hummer, it does show off the amazing variety of feathers that this bird sports.
The green feathers on the back almost look like fish scales!
The wing feathers are transparent enough to see the pink plant  beyond them.
And the orange flank feathers look as soft a kitty belly fur.
