Fern in the Dyke

The morning didn’t go well.  Having mixed my bucket of cement I mounted the roof of the sheeps hoose.  Two minutes later I was through the roof and shouting for the Current Mrs Creel to give me assistance.  She wasnae happy.  I noticed that the first thing that she did was to check on the condition of the roof.  I think I’ll be phoning through to Kirkwall tomorrow for materials.

I have been informed that I am still going dancing tonight.

In other news the midges have returned, with suitcases, and their relatives.  I am gargling with ‘Skin so Soft’.

In un-necessary news we haven’t seen the sun today.

A little known bizarre, but true, fact.  When I lived at Disblair, Hector Nicol’s stunt double was my neighbour.
