Yesnaby (Day 485)

After the morning wander up the hill with the dogs, my beautiful wife  took me into town for an appointment with the consultant about my arm. She was relatively happy with progress and said that she will not need to see me again, but I should see the physioterrorist. I had thought that I was doing pretty well, but mentioned a little pain in my thumb. The physio asked me to move my arm in a different way, which showed that my bicep is a lot weaker than I had thought, and I have been compensating with other muscles. Bugger. I have more exercises to do.
We had a few other things to do in town which used up most of the morning, and after lunch we headed to Yesnaby for a walk. A real change from yesterday with only a light breeze but a grey sky. The dogs enjoyed chasing each other around whilst I photographed the waves and got chewed by midges.
We dropped Evie the wonderdog off with mum and dad on the way home. She seems relatively pleased to be back home. Dad's consultant has told him that his cancer is stable at the moment - the tumour isn't any bigger and there is no sign of any cancer anywhere else, which is good news. They are tweaking his medication in an effort to make him feel better.
