Audrey!

Dolly reporting today!

Mum and I had a really nice visit in Warminster with our friends Vanessa and Richard. Good friends, delicious food (which I got to taste!), and a cosy cottage including a very pretty garden!  It was a good thing the garden was nice because we brought our tent and slept out there!  (See extra photo)  It seems butchers shops and coffee shops are not the only places poodles are not allowed! (See yesterday's blip)  I also wasn't allowed upstairs where the guest room was!  It's a good thing Mum and I LOVE camping!!  Yay!  We haven't had many nights in our tent this year so we were super happy to sleep outside!  

Since we were driving through Devizes on the way home, we stopped to see a work friend of Mum's. Peter lives near the Kennet & Avon canal and the famous Caen Hill flight of locks. 29 of them altogether!  

AND - Peter has a Jack Russel called Audrey and we became friends right away. She's only 5, so she has lots more energy than me, but I enjoyed watching her chase her ball while we were out walking along the canal. And I taught her the importance of having ice-cream whenever the humans stop at a cafe!  We shared a bowl of ice-cream while the humans had tea and cake.  Fab!

Even though we got caught in the rain on the way back to the house, it was a great visit!  Thank you, Peter and Audrey!!
