Cahills View
I was recently reminded by 'Mr 1825', Hobbs that Cahills Lookout in Katoomba has recently re-opened after being scorched by a bushfire more than 12 months ago. This is a slightly different take on the view towards Narrowneck, with Boars Head in the middle ground. It was quite misty in Katoomba this morning, and I was quite taken with the contrast between the harshness of the burnt bushes in the foreground and the softness of the mist shrowded plateau above Narrowneck.
(Narrowneck is a slim ridge of land running from Katoomba out to the plateau, and dividing the Megalong Valley in the west from the Jamison Valley in the east)
