Leap of faith?

On Elie pier.

Thanks to the girls who let me take this shot!

I love how their feet are just clinging to the very edge of the pier.

The pier is a popular place with children and teenagers when the beach has bored them. They spend hours jumping in the cold summer (oxymoron) North Sea water.

The boys are always trying to impress the girls with longer, further, faster, higher jumps!

The girls seem to just be jumping, but maybe they are showing off to?

Oh remember showing off to the opposite sex in the hope/desperation that you would get some attention and a kiss at the end of your exploits.
