The River Forth. At Stirling.

This morning we took a stroll along the hillside trail from Alva to Tillicoultry but some un-forecast drizzle.
This afternoon, that drizzle was a bit persistent so we did stuff around the house.
This evening, however, we escaped the wetness and re-visited Cambuskenneth and had a good old wander. Ck is linked to Stirling by a footbridge across the river which saves a much longer walk/drive along the road. I took the above looking upriver from the bridge. A few weeks from now, those trees will be in their Autumn glory. I expect we may well be back!
